  • 2026 Charles City Spring Cleanup

    Charles City Spring Cleanup is scheduled for April 18-25!

    Charles City residents can drop off ONE free truckload* of items at the Shaw Avenue Dump during Spring Cleanup week.

    Need help getting items to the dump? Volunteer assistance may be available. Contact City Hall for more information.

    Residents may also schedule curbside pickup with Jendro Sanitation (fees apply). Please note: This will be the last year Jendro will offer curbside pickup during Spring Cleanup.Tires (maximum of 4 passenger tires per address) will be accepted this year only and will not be accepted in future Spring Cleanup events.We are currently updating the City website with additional details, including accepted items, disposal options, and other helpful resources.Questions: Call City Hall at 641-257-6300*The City reserves the right to refuse any load that does not meet the guidelines.

  • Updated Addresses for City Hall & Public LIbrary

    New permanent mailing and physical address.

    There has been a change in permanent mailing and physical address for both City Hall and the Public Library. You may now send mailings to 900 Clark Street, for City Hall, and 910 Clark Street, for the library. With the current renovation and the fact that Milwaukee Mall does not show up on GPS, it was time for a change. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact City Hall at 641-257-6300.

    Public Disclosure of Provider Reimbursement Rates

    On July 1, 2022, enforcement of the machine-readable file requirement of the Transparency in Coverage final rule began.  Under the rule, non-grandfathered, self-funded (or level-funded) group health plans (and insurers) must publicly post machine-readable files that disclose in-network provider negotiated rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2022.  Please click here to see this information for the employee health plan for the city of Charles City.
